It was perhaps the most well respected Russian Bride forum site from 2001 to 2006. Most if not all the major Russian Women Forums came from ex-members or ex-moderators of the RWG. It was an open & unbiased forum with excellent high-value contributing moderators until being bought out and fully commercialized in Jan 2006. The new owner(s) restructured the forum and many of the members and nearly all the veteran moderators left on principle.
The current owner(s) have strong affiliations with European Connections (introduction agency) and have kept their business motives and identity very secretive. I know of few business concerns that want to hide their name. So when it is said to consider the "source" the RWGuide makes that a difficult call.
If you want advice, it can range mild to hot, so bring your nomex if you are coming in on the wings of dragons.
Other than that it is well run and easy to use. Once you get pass the advertising portals (the above URL bypasses the portals) the forum has zero ads, however ads are said to be in the works (Still haven't seen ads yet). The new moderators are good contributors and are responsible for much of the forums success as it is.
