Explanation of general method
The blog category is rather new so a definition of best method is more fluid than that of forum sites. The following are some of the items we consider. Bear in mind that the RWSource is looking for the best interest of the typical user with respect to the below considerations.
The RWSource looks at the overall blog content of adds and it associated potential conflicts to the blog. If there could be conflicts of interest, we look for any statements by the blog owner to minimize and self police such conflicts, or better.
We look at the Terms of Service of the site holder that could be detrimental or out of the ordinary for users.
We look at how well the blog is organized and its ease of use.
We look at how open the site is to the flow of information for any and all related sources (from a consumer's standpoint). In this case advertisements are not considered information unless they are confined to a dedicated pages or links that are appropriately labeled.
Blog size has little weigh. Blog must provide minimum basic information content to support the premise of the site and have basic organization and functions.
